Sharon Cuneta - Anything for You (Taglish Version)

This is an original adaptation of the Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine's "Anything For You" which Sharon Cuneta also sang as part of the soundtrack of her movie Buy One, Take One with Susan Roces, Bernard Bonnin, and Richard Gomez in 1988. The soundtrack which was a back-to-back soundtrack with Kumander Bawang was only released on vinyl and cassette and has never been part of any Sharon or Viva compilation albums.

In relation to the song being in Taglish, Sharon was part of the first generation of Filipino singers who had songs incorporated both Filipino and English into their lyrics such as her first hit song "Mr. D.J." In the movies, she pioneered the "colegiala speak" via her first film Dear Heart. The "colegiala speak" was a combination of Filipino and English in one sentence or phrase like "tusok-tusok the fish balls."
