Wow...I am proud of it that I've watched UNEXPECTEDLY YOURS 2 times in Cebu City and in just 5 days it has grossed P100M. And I am proud that I am part of it being a SUPER-MEGA BLOCKBUSTER.
No wonder because the story is so good. It has A WHOLE SLEW OF comedy scenes. Although there are part of that is SO MOVING when Sharon cried in a car because she felt that the whole world is against her for her husband left her after coming back again many times, her daughter left their house for she didn't allow her to go to London to stay there for a time being, and her boss let her have an early retirement for she blunt her edge or lose her edge being senior marketing officer. However, I believe 25% or 30% of it is comedy but 75% or 70% is comedy but it has a WELL-THOUGHT SCRIPT so it is Graded B by the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB). But Robin is BIG REVELATION here because yong atake nya sa comedy is SO NATURAL unlike her previous movie na kadalasan naging OA sya. Then, yong si Julia Barretto is also great in acting just like her auntie Claudine Barretto kaya siguro gusto ni Sharon yong mga Barrettos sa drama movies nya just like Claudine as step daughter ni Sharon sa Madrasta. Finally si Joshua Garcia ay super galing sa comedy at ang SOBRANG POSITIVE ng attitude dito which coincides her true personality. Joshua is a good example of a millennial who is WELL-LICKED INTO SHAPE by their parents.
There is moral lesson of the story that the millennials should also LISTEN THEIR PARENTS because it is for their own good. If they have experienced what their grandparents do to their parents by DISCIPLINING their parents a whole lot than their parents do to them. And, also another moral lesson is that the parent (Sharon) who STANDS HER PRINCIPLES and LISTENS her daughter later when she realizes her fault as well as her FIGHTING FOR her love to Robin because she have had enough of her husband who always comes back to his family when his love turns out to be nothing.
Wow...I am proud of it that I've watched UNEXPECTEDLY YOURS 2 times in Cebu City and in just 5 days it has grossed P100M nationwide. I will watch it still 8 times more if my budget permits! Hahaha. And I am proud that I am part of it being a SUPER-MEGA BLOCKBUSTER.
